You can insert a text box into a topic. This box can hold text outside the normal flow of topic content.
example
Let's say you want to add a case study that is positioned next to the main body text on a page. Therefore, you insert a text box with a border and unique background color to make it stand out. You position the text box to the left of the body frame on a page. That way, it is clear to the reader that the case study is intended to provide additional information pertaining to the body text on that page.
How to insert a text box
Place your cursor in the topic where you want to insert the text box.
If your cursor is on the same line as a paragraph, the text box will be placed after that paragraph.
If you want the text box to be placed outside of a page frame, simply choose the location nearest to that location. You can adjust the exact positioning later.
Select Insert>Text Box. The Insert Text Box dialog opens.
Select one of the <div> tags to use for the text box. You can use the parent <div> tag, or you can select a class if you have created one for it previously in your style sheet. The <div> tag is just one way to change the look of the text box.
The next several steps let you adjust the look of this specific text box. However, if you want all of your text boxes to share some of the same features, you can instead provide the following settings on the <div> tag instead.
