Topic Reviews Window Pane

This window pane lets you work with review documents that you have received from others. See About Topic Reviews and Contributions.

There are two different views in the window pane. The information in the window pane changes, depending on the view you select.

To switch from one view to another, click the drop-down field at the top of the window pane and make your selection.

Following are the primary tasks that you can perform in this window pane.

Reviewed topics (view and accept) You can quickly email topics to other individuals for their feedback and/or changes. After inserting annotations (comments) or making changes to a topic with MadCap X-Edit or X-Edit Review, reviewers can send the topic back to you. You can then accept those comments or changes so that they are added to the source file. See Viewing Reviewed Topics in Inbox and Accepting Reviewed Topics.
Reviewed topics (import) You can import a reviewed topic into the inbox. After that, you can view and/or accept the topic. You might use this feature, for example, if you have received a topic from a reviewer, but rather than immediately sending the topic to your inbox from the email message, you saved it to your local drive. Sent topics (view) You can view a list of all topics that you have sent to others for review. If you double-click a topic from the list, it opens in the XML Editor. See Viewing Topics Sent for Review.
