Creating New Style Sheets

The first step in using styles in your topics is to create a new style sheet (if necessary), adding it to your project. When you create a style sheet, it is added to the Resources folder in the Content Explorer. If you add a topic style sheet, it is stored in the Stylesheets subfolder. If you add a table style sheet, it is stored in the TableStyles subfolder. For more information see About Styles and Style Sheets.

The Copy to Project dialog opens, displaying information about the template file that will be copied to the project.

  6. Click OK.

The style sheet is added to the Content Explorer and opens in its own page in the Stylesheet Editor.

After you finish inserting the table, the new style sheet is added to your project.

Note: You can also import an existing style sheet from outside your project.
