Opening Style Sheets
When you create a new style sheet for your project, the style sheet opens automatically in the Stylesheet Editor or Table Style Editor. If you want to make changes to a style sheet that is closed, use the following steps to open it in the appropriate editor.
How to open a style sheet
- Make sure the Content Explorer is open. By default, the Content Explorer is located on the left side of the interface in an accordion structure with the Project Organizer, unless you have previously moved it and saved the new layout. You may have to click the Content Explorer bar to bring it into view.
- Double-click the Resources folder to open it.
- Do one of the following:
- If you want to open a topic style sheet, double-click the Stylesheets subfolder.
OR
- If you want to open a table style sheet, double-click the TableStyles subfolder.
Note: If you imported a project that has a style sheet, that style sheet will not be located in one of these folders unless you move it there. Instead, the style sheet will be located in the same place where it was stored in the source project (e.g., at the root level of the Content Explorer).
- Do one of the following:
- Locate and double-click the style sheet (CSS file) that you want to open.
OR
- Locate and click the style sheet (CSS file) that you want to open. In the local toolbar, click

The style sheet opens in the Stylesheet Editor or Table Style Editor, depending on whether you are opening a topic style sheet or a table style sheet.
